3 months old!

3 Months!

2 Months!

1 Month!
Our boy is 3 months old! He is a whopping 16 and a half pounds! Whew! I'm expecting to get some ripped arms out of this but so far not so much. Last week he rolled over 3 times. He is drooling like crazy and the doctor says he is teething but not actually cutting teeth just yet. He continues to be quite the talker which is not surprising since both mom and dad like to talk too! I absolutely love to hear his latest sounds and mimic them back to him. He has discovered the joy of squealing and loves to see how high he can go. Ah! It seems he is definitely maturing. He cries a lot less and seems to have figured out he doesn't need to cry to get himself to sleep. He will sleep 6-8 hours straight and the last 2 nights he has only woken up once then goes back down til around 7am. He still loves going on our morning and evening walks. We are outside more often now that the weather is finally cooling off. Last weekend Caleb had his first overnight visit (without me) with Nana and Papa (my mom and dad). Byron and I celebrated our 1st wedding anniversary and got to have a date night. My parents have a room set up with crib and everything so Caleb is quite comfy there.

Caleb's expressions just crack me up!! I think this is his Elvis impersonation.

"I wish the papparazzi would stop following me!"

He could be a member of Sha-Na-Na, couldn't he?

The Latest in Pumpkin Fashion!

With so many cute outfits out there this fall, we thought we'd share with you the latest in pumpkin fashion.  I love this first outfit.  It says "So cute it's scary."  So true!!
This next one is compliments of Nana (my mom).  It's Baby's 1st Halloween.  The butt's on these are all especially cute.

This one is not a pumpkin outfit, but I threw it in anyway because he's so darn cute!  The pose is adorable, but what makes this outfit "work" is...
the cowboy socks!!!

This one says "Lil Pumpkin".  Yes, I could just eat him up!

And finally, our last one.  Check out the feet on this one.
Isn't everyone cuter with a pumpkin on their butt?

2 1/2 Months

Can you tell he looks like his Daddy? Even when he's serious he's cute!

As you can see, Caleb still enjoys eating his fist. I'm quite certain that he would swallow it if he could. This week he's made the connection that his fist is actually attached to him instead of some random object that appears in his mouth. Fun to watch him look at it in amazement.

Caleb is full of smiles! He loves to sit outside with me and talk. His latest conversations contain new sounds. He is learning his b's, m's, and g's. I love to hear him say goo!

He makes the funniest faces! Especially with his cheeks being so big right now. This is the "Whatchu talkin' about, Willis?" face.

His hair is growing and getting curlier.

Here, Caleb is demonstrating that he is "this big". :)

This pic is for his homies. He wanted to throw up his gang signs but I wouldn't let him.
