Time flies....

I am almost 8 months pregnant now. We have scheduled the delivery for Wednesday, May 2nd, but I wouldn't be surprised if he decided to come earlier than that. In fact, I'd be surprised if he waited til May 2nd! The weeks go by so quickly...the kids are getting so big, so fast.

Our sweet, Princess Zoey has certainly learned a lot from the boys in this house. Caleb has taught her the fine art of nose picking. She likes to smell feet and say "PU!". She also likes to fake burp and then proudly says, "Big burp, Mommy!". And don't even think of passing gas in front of her. She will call you out with a "big fart, Caleb!". She likes to walk up to the boys and in a deep voice say, "Wassup, Cam?" Can only imagine the other things she will learn from the boys.

She is now nearly 19 months. At her 18 month well check she weighed 23 lbs. 11 oz and was almost 32 inches long. She is in the 50th percentile for both height and weight. She is so verbal, just like her brother was at this age. She says 3 and 4 word phrases. Some of her favorites are "I don't know", "I love you", and "I did it". She loves to color and I'm surprised how well she does it. She likes to name colors but usually gets them wrong. Yellow is her favorite. She likes to try to count. She either says, "4, 5, 6" or "7, 8, 9". She loves to watch Dora and shout out "Swiper", "Aw, Man" and all the Spanish words. She likes to describe things.."Mommy, it's dark/hot/cold". "Big mess, Mommy" and "All clean" are also favorites. My favorite is when she runs across the room and then tells me, "Mommy, I'm fast." So cute! She absolutely adores her brothers. I recently moved her into Caleb's room. I was prepared for it to be a difficult change but its gone more smoothly than I ever could have expected. They love sharing a room and going to bed at the same time. I've had to retrieve Caleb from her crib more than once. :) I love hearing them talk before falling asleep. They get along so well together. Byron's afraid the new baby may be the odd man out, but I think he'll only add to the mischief and fun.

Another favorite phrase is "Mommy, I'm strong" then she proceeds to flex her muscles to the point of shaking. Cracks me up! Caleb used to do the exact same thing. Here is Daddy and Zoey showing how strong they are.

She has 3 dolls..Tasha, Tasha, and Tasha. Caleb is obsessed with that name so so named them all Tasha.

If I had to pick a career for her based on her likes right now, I'd say either architect or race car driver. It's so cute to see her so girly with her mannerisms playing with her matchbox cars or building towers. She likes her dolls, but loves her cars. You go, girl!

Chillin out before bedtime.

Caleb is 3 1/2 now. He continues to love school and has really matured into such a good boy. Thank GOD!!! Last summer was so challenging, it is so nice to see him so happy and not the tantrum throwing boy from the past. He is a great help to me and still keeps us in stitches Both kids already talk about the baby. Caleb wants him to start sleeping in his room as soon as possible. I love how much they love him already! Caleb is such a lover...he needs to snuggle at least 3 times a day. I love it! If I had to pick a career for him based on his personality I'd say comedian, scientist, dancer, soccer player extraordinaire! The world is his oyster!! He starts soccer again next week, which he is very excited about. He will also have his tonsils and adenoids out later this month. He has always had breathing and sleeping problems. Hopefully this will help him significantly.

Cameron and Byron have been doing college visits. Here they are at Syracuse University! He has gotten a lot of attention from so many schools who want him to play soccer for them. It's such an exciting time in Cameron's life. It will be interesting to see where he chooses to go.

The kids love to help me cook in the kitchen.

One of their favorite things to do is to go to Nana and Papa's house and go for a ride on the golf cart!

What are you going to do when you are not pregnant anymore? Will that be a sad day? It seems like it has been the norm for the past few years which is not a bad thing, just curious..

Boy, your life has changed since the NY days! I am so happy for you because a family with kids is a wonderful thing! They keep you on your toes. And grandparents have a ball! I love reading the blogs. Best wishes with the new addition, Cruz Baby! Gwynne Youngs
