Christmas is coming!

Check out the Santa pic. I love it! Caleb is totally working it...pretending to be such an angel (Ha!) and Zoey is completely miserable. As a friend of mine said, it pretty much sums up the emotions of the holidays...some crying, some smiling. This year is so special because Caleb is finally at an age where he kind of gets it. I can use Santa as a threat...which I love. :P He wants to drive around every night and look at all the Christmas lights. It's so sweet. I told him we were going to see Santa and tell him what he wants for Christmas and that if he was good, Santa would bring him presents. Apparently, I left out an important detail-that Santa will bring them on Christmas morning and not give them to you immediately when you see him at the mall. Had a bit of a breakdown when he realized he wasn't getting them immediately.

Here's my sweet boy at his school Christmas party. We got to make gingerbread houses together. The kids sang a few holiday songs and did some sign language...it def brought tears to my eyes to see my boy performing.

Caleb and his teachers, Mrs. Pepi and Mrs. Kennedy.

Caleb loved picking out the Christmas tree.

Here are his school pics. He's growing up so fast! Byron and I are constantly in stitches with his random but hilarious thoughts. His latest fascination is farting. Just like a boy, right? He thinks it's so funny. We were out to dinner the other night and he announces at the table, "Mommy, I just farted!" and then my sweet Zoey proceeds to blow a raspberry, knowing exactly what he was talking about. I couldn't help but laugh. He told me on another day, "Mommy, I make people happy by farting." As if this is contirbution to society. We are working on keeping this an at-home thing. Wish me luck!

Is it me or does he look like he has a bit of a mustache in this one? Still a cutie! It is truly heartwarming to see Caleb and Zoey grow together. They play so much together. I love to see them run around the house laughing at each other. But when one is crying, the other is soon to follow. And nothing is getting over on Zoey anymore. Whatever Caleb is doing, she wants to do also. Whether its eating a snack, getting a toy, playing with daddy...she makes sure she gets in on it. It kills me how much she is learning from him. So cool.

I couldn't find Zoey so I looked in Caleb's room and here she was "reading" a Toys R Us ad! Everytime she sees a Toys R Us commercial she screams "Toys!!!!"

She is 16 months now, but at her 15 month visit she weighed 22.2 lbs and was almost 31 inches long. She repeats anything and everything now. She will say "please" if she wants anything and usually follows it with a "thank you". I thought I could go Christmas shopping for the kids and take her along. As soon as we entered the store she exclaimed, "Toys! Please, mama, please!" I find I am constantly underestimating her. And she is constantly amazing me.

The before and after shots of bedhead.

She loves to take baths. Anytime I run water she tries to take her clothes off and says "bath! bath!"

I think I was 4 months here-I feel much bigger now. I am 5 months now and feel pretty good. Just went in for my monthly check up and all is good. His heartrate was 138 bpm. Good and strong but much lower than my other 2. Does this mean he'll be calmer? Wishful thinking! This pregnancy is flying by. I am really excited about having another one. Took a little time to get used to the thought of have 3 ages 3 and under but I couldn't be happier about how things have worked out. I feel very lucky to be this blessed. If it were up to Byron we would have more...hmm. Not so sure about that one but I love how much he adores the kids. Makes me love him all the more!

Cameron will be 17 next month! He's so handsome. :) He is getting lots of attention from several colleges who have seen him play soccer. It's so exciting. He continues to excel in school, play high school soccer and play for the academy team. I honestly don't know how he does it all.

Sarah, my cousin Mitchell's wife, is expecting their first baby in March! We are all so excited for them. Another boy in the family! This is our boy's first picture together.

My sister, Kimberly, my mom and I at Sarah's shower.

My Aunt Sue, my mom's sister, and my mom.

We took Skylar and Caleb to the park to see the lights. Nothing says Christmas like a pink flamingo in lights!

Zoey enjoyed it, too.

I took the kids to Disney for the first time! Cameron was sick, so Byron stayed home with him. My parents went with me and the kids. We stayed at a condo for the weekend, which, for Caleb, is exciting enough. He loves to stay in hotels!

He may not show it here, but he absolutely loved seeing Minnie and Mickey. Surprisingly, Zoey was equally excited. I loved seeng their faces light up!

The lines were so long...about a 40-50 minute wait. We only got to go on 4 rides but we all had a blast. Here's Papa and Zoeygirl on the teacups.

Zoey was so cute with Tigger and Pooh. She was so happy to see them.

The castle is so beautiful at Christmas time!

Back at the hotel, the kids enjoyed the game room.

Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas!! xoxo
