End of 2013-Beginning of 2014

Wow…didn't realize how much time had gotten away from me!  Here are pics from our Thanksgiving weekend at the vacation condo.
Loved getting to spend time with my brother Michael and my sister-in-law Leanne.  Can't believe how big Nolan is getting.
We had smores on the beach! Love these little buggers.
Caleb loves to play pool with my dad.
Cruz had a 2nd surgery in December.  The first one, in November, was for the initial feeding tube.  It was rather long (about 8 inches) and very cumbersome.  The second surgery wasn't as bad-it simply replaced the long tube with one that was flush to his skin.  So much easier to care for and he came through the surgery like a pro.

I love the how this year's Santa picture captures the emotions of the holidays-from joy, to indifference, to misery.  :)
I had bunion surgery in mid December and was off my feet for several weeks.  Luckily my mom stepped in to decorate the tree and the house for me.  Zoey loved helping Nana.
Christmas morning!!
Happy kids!
Love having my family over Christmas morning.
So blessed.

Zoey ended 2013 with a break..not a bang.  She was simply playing baseball in the living room with her dad when she went down swinging and came up limping.  After 2, yes-2 previous breaks, I pretty much knew right away.  Shockingly, the doctor said he's not concerned about her bones because all her breaks have been in common places.  This time she broke her foot in 2 places!
These are pics of Caleb and our neighbor Zack back in 2009 and now.  So stinking cute!
2014 brought a new addition to our family!  Tanner Lee Chapman Douglass was born January 24th, 2014.  He is such a sweet baby-we all adore him.  David is such a great dad.
Brotherly love.  Cameron turned 19 in January…19!!!  He continues to thrive at USF.  We are lucky he's so close to home and get to see him so often.
Snuck in this cute one of Tanner…he-he.  What a cutie!
My little kicker has become a little slugger.  His passion is definitely soccer but it's nice to try something new for a change.  He continues to play soccer as well.

I am so glad 2013 is over.  It was a very difficult year.  Looking forward to a healthier and happier 2014!!!  :)
