11 Months

Cruz at 11 months...
and Zoey...
and Caleb!
My sweet boy!  Can hardly believe he's almost a year old.  He finally popped those stubborn teeth and has grand total of 6-4 up top and 2 on the bottom.  That will soon change as he has more bottom teeth edging in.  He still does not like to eat table food at all.  I think his mouth was so sore for so long with those 4 top ones taking forever to pop through that he didn't want anything in his mouth for a long time.  He had even cut back on baby food.  He's back to eating baby food and now will put things in his mouth but spit them out soon after.  At least it's progress.  He's still quite tiny so I'm interested to see what his weight is at his one year appt.  He continues to cruise around but no real interest in walking yet.  He says Na-Na, Ma-ma and Da-da.  He loves to dance, wave bye-bye and clap a lot and continues to be a happy, sweet boy.
Showing off his new teeth.
Oh, how I love these kids!!
Soccer started back up again.  Caleb is dominating!  His last game he scored 15 goals!!! We decided to have him play in an additional soccer league that focuses more on skills.  It's the same league Cameron started in and the one Byron coaches for.  He had his first night last night and did well.  It's great for him bc it challenges him.  I can't get over how much he loves soccer and how good he is.  Happy he'll be following his brother's footsteps!
Is my husband hot, or what?! I feel so lucky that after 6 years together I can look at him and still feel butterflies.
Caleb's teacher even came to one of his games.  One of his best friends from school, Mark, is on his team too.
Truly a phantom menace in this pic!!
Looks just like me, right? I will be taking Caleb on a tour of his new kindergarten soon.  Must admit that I'm anxious about it.  I know he'll be fine-he loves school.  Caleb has such a great personality.  So pleased with how much he's evened out.  :P  Such a confident little boy-always has been.  He has no problems going into a new situation and fitting right in. Love that about him.  He keeps me in stitches daily.  He is hilarious.  So loving to Cruz.  Love. This. Boy.
We got to enjoy some Spring Break fun with our buddy, Jameson.  :)
Then there's Princess Zoey.  This girl loves her shoes! (just like her Nana)  Her teacher told me a few weeks ago that even though Zoey is the youngest in her class (August 13th) she is more articulate than the oldest child in the class! This may come as a surprise to some of you.  Zoey is usually quite shy around people for awhile.  A friend of mine even said the other day she didn't think she's ever heard Zoey talk! Ha! She is def different than Caleb in this way.  She needs a lot of warm-up time.
Looks sweet and innocent but...
...always plotting and scheming!
Zoey absolutely ADORES Caleb.  She wants to do everything he does.  Heck, she even insists that she is turning 5 on her birthday, too! She recently got rid of her "sire" aka pacifier.  Felt like she was never going to get rid of it.  Every time I would make progress with getting rid of it, she'd get sick and I just wanted to do anything to comfort her.  Poor girl gets sick about once a month with her asthma.  Then one day she couldn't find her sire and said, "Mama, it disappeared!" This seemed to be an acceptable explanation vs me withholding it from her.  Since then she's been fine.  She has found her replacement for comfort....her brother!  Ever since then she wants to sleep with Caleb, sit in the same chair as Caleb, etc. Luckily, he's a willing participant most of the time.
Loves to dance in the car.
How sweet is this?  I walk into their room and find her like this-shirt off, playing the iPad.  We've been working on potty training.  She can do it when she wants but doesn't want to most of the time.  Grr.  If I leave her naked around the house she goes on her own.  At least I know she can but we'll be happy when we no longer have 2 in diapers!
My dad retired last week.  He was working for Hyundai and has been in the car business for probably over 25 years.  He is so happy to not be working.  Lots of things to keep him busy.
Easter weekend my mom and I took the kids to an Easter carnival.  So much fun-a petting zoo, bounce houses, horse rides...they had a ball!
Skylar and Denise came too!
I love that even Cruz says "cheese".
One of my neighbors does this every year.  On Good Friday they put up the cross with the purple sash and on Easter morning they cover it with lilies.  Love it!
Easter was so much fun!  We went to my folks house to visit with everyone.  I love when our whole family can get together.  Only thing missing was one very important 18 year old.  :)
Caleb and Nolan love playing together.  Wish they lived closer!
The kids love to go on a golf cart ride with Papa.
Daddy helped Zoey out on the egg hunt.
 Aunt Kiki and the boys!
My brother Michael, Leanne, Jordan and Nolan.
We def missed Cameron this Easter.
Cameron is doing well in Germany.  I don't have any pics to share this time from him.  It's very cold this time of year.  He misses the warm weather.  He is taking a German class 4 days a week for 4 hours a day! He is enjoying the soccer team over there in Osnabruck.  We look forward to his return in late May!
