2 Week picture

I know it's a few days late, but here's Caleb's 2 week old picture. My cousin, Chrissy, just had a baby in May and had a great idea. Take the baby's picture in the same spot with the same object each time to see how much the baby has grown. So this is his first pic. He is growing! He now weighs 8lbs 9 oz. Our first big outing (other than the doctor) was to Babies R Us on Sunday. Since I can't lift more than 10 lbs, Daddy went with us. Another day we went to Nana and Papa's (my mom and dad's). I was nervous riding in the car for 30 minutes without anyone in the back seat with Caleb, but we managed. He is holding his head up so well and his legs continue to get stronger and stronger. He is such a kicker that I can't put him in gowns to sleep in anymore because he ends up kicking it up. :) As you can tell by his pictures, he is very alert when awake and usually has a furrowed brow as if questioning everything he sees. If any of you have ever seen my baby pictures I'm sure you'll agree he has my eyes. I have quite a few funny pics of me! At least he has something from me! :)
