What a whirlwind year 2007 was! Meeting Byron in late December, moving in in March, getting engaged in May, getting married in Paris and having a wonderful reception in October, finding out we're pregnant in November. Not sure we can top 2007. Certainly, a year full of blessings.
We had our first ultrasound today and all looks good. I'm currently 12 weeks pregnant and our due date is July 24th. We are so excited! The first trimester is coming to an end, thank goodness. I was very sick and exhausted the first two months. Things have greatly improved since then. No more queasiness and I have some of my energy back. I've really enjoyed having these last 2 weeks of school off. Byron and I have decided to wait until the baby is born to find out the sex. I'm looking forward to the surprise, although my mother is not pleased with this decision. I've only gained 4 pounds so far, but my clothes have begun to get tight and I have started to show a bit. Time to go shopping!
