I figured I'd better get these Spring pics out before I put out the summer ones! I make no apologies for the mass amount of photos in this post. We've been having so much fun and making so many memories. We'll start with these amazing pics I had taken of the kids in April. It was initially going to be pics for Cruz's 3rd birthday. I thought maybe we'd put them all in for one pic. I knew there was no way they would all look in the same direction AND smile at the same time. Should be a cheap visit. And then this magic happened:
Crazy, right?! It was not a cheap visit, but def worth it!! I could look at those pics forever. Ahh. Moving on..Caleb started mixed martial arts training this Spring. He was such a natural. I am what you would call a non-athlete-so it amazes me how easily he picks things up. Even the other mom's whose kids had been doing the training for years were surprised how good Caleb was.
This is Caleb testing for his yellow belt..
which, of course, he earned. :)
The picture below me is what Zoey wrote on her chalkboard. She has the cutest friend in preschool, Oscar. She calls him her boyfriend. And so it begins...
Love my silly boys. I love how they all get along. Caleb is the universal BFF to both of Cruz and Zoey. But Cruz and Zoey play really well together. He is so laid back and she is so bossy-it make for a great pair. He loves to play barbies with her, library, grocery store, mom & dad. I love it!
My dear friend Teresa and her daughter Isabel came down for a quick visit. Zoey and I met them in Orlando for some girl time and had a blast. Teresa and I have been best friends since we were about 3 or 4 years old. She lives in Bossier, LA. I miss her so much but love every minute of her visits.

Zoey got her first "blow out". Oh my. She loved it. I couldn't believe she would sit and let someone use a big round brush in her hair but the pic above proves otherwise. She wants straight hair so bad. This only last about a day but look at that smile!!
This was a paper Caleb's teacher sent home. They had been discussing courage that week and were asked to finish the sentence.."if i had courage…" Oh my. Caleb said, "If I had courage I would be a cool man smoking on the street."With an awesome pic, I might add. Son, you would need more than courage if I caught you doing that. I asked him if he wanted to be a smoker someday (a bit worried about this) and he simply said no..he just wanted to draw a picture of someone smoking. Whew. Carry on.
Zoey had a bike-a-thon at school. True to form, my strong willed girl said she didn't want to ride her bike. So she just sat there with everyone riding around her. Not disrespectful. Just a simple no-not doing that. Yeah, kindergarten is going to be interesting.
Here are some pics from Easter. We went to church then had an Easter egg hunt at my parent's house.
Tanner is getting so big!
I love my parent's so much.
Cruz's 3rd birthday was a blast. We had a family party at the house. He was so much fun to watch!
Then we took him to Chuck E Cheese to play his favorite game.
I got some MUCH needed R & R in NYC in early May. Because of Cruz's feeding condition, I haven't been able to leave him more than a few hours since he was born. Can't tell you how much I needed this time for myself. I stayed with my good friend, went to museums, saw Helen Mirren in the play "The Audience" (she won a Tony this year for her performance-it was excellent!), had great food and drinks. What more could a girl want? Hoping to resume my annual visits from here on out.
This was Zoey's VPK class pic. By the way, her "boyfriend", Oscar, is the bottom right. How cute is my girl?!
This was some family fun we had on Mother's Day at my sister's pool. We love gathering there.
Zoey looked beautiful for her school performance. My friend, Cari, even came over and french braided her hair. She loved it!
This is my favorite event of preschool. They
My mom and I got to take Zoey to Disney on Ice-Frozen! It was magical for all of us. Such a great girls day!
Zoey celebrating the last day of VPK with her friends.
We went on vacation a little early this year-the last week in May. As usual we had a blast...
I surprised the kids on my birthday by having breakfast with the characters. What a great time we all had! Love making these memories with my parents.
And I got to celebrate my birthday with my besties-Mindy and Maria. Lucky me. :)
