and Zoey at 5 months. |
Here are the kids at 5 months old. What a pudge Caleb was!! Looking at these, Cruz looks a little more like Zoey. I don't know how much Cruz weighs right now because there is not 5 month dr appt. He continues to be such an easy baby. Still sleeps a lot (about every 2-2 1/2 hours) and wakes only once or twice a night. He is finding his voice and babbling a lot..love to hear that. He adores Caleb and Caleb him. They really have a special bond. I can't believe he will be sitting up and crawling in the next few months!
This is one of my baby pics. Hmm. Maybe Cruz looks like me after all. One thing's for sure, they are all my blessings!
We ended the summer with an injury. Zoey fell down some stairs and broke her left foot. After she had the cast on, it didn't even phase her or slow her down a bit.
The kids and I joined my mom and dad in Orlando for Labor Day weekend (Byron had a soccer tournament, as usual). Michael and Nolan were able to join us for some fun.
I thought this was so cute that she chose to do this with the black and white chess pieces. :)
Check out my brave boy!
This was taken on "Meet Your Teacher" day. Zoey was particularly excited about going to school. She was so bummed that we were only staying for 30 minutes.
And this was the first day of school! This was the day I waited for all summer for!!!! The next day Caleb and Zoey had fever's and coughs. They missed the rest of the week. :P

Zoey got the cast off her left foot on a Monday...2 days later she fell in the garage and broke her right foot. Seriously. At least she'll have even wear and tear on her shoes. :P Zoey absolutely loves going to school. She goes 3 days a week and is doing so well. If you'll notice, I have far more pics of the boys than Zoey because she usually shuts it down the minute I take a camera out, whereas Caleb loves the camera. Been having a hard time getting her to nap every day. She tells me very dramatically, "I don't want to take a nap anymore!" Oh, boy.
Soccer season started up again for Caleb. I can't believe how much he has improved in a few months! He is so focused on the field and his ball skills have improved so much. He is having so much fun with it. He, too, loves going to school. He is now in VPK and goes 5 half days, which is nice, but strange for me. He is just getting so big and grown up. He is learning SO much even in this short amount of time. I'm so proud of the little man he's become. No more tantrums. Def my most challenging child thus far, but it is so amazing to see him transition and be more in control of himself. My passionate little man.
He was coming to give me a high 5 after scoring a goal in this one.
He cracks me up! During one of the games, he went over to the sidelines and proceeded to balance the ball behind his head, just like Cam does. Show off. :)
Ah! Love these boys!
Cameron is doing well in his final year in high school. He has such a busy schedule between soccer practice, school work, soccer games (many of which he travels out of state for), and having fun. I don't know how he manages to do it all and to do it well!
Here are some random pics of everyone....
Oh my...she looks like a wild child in this one. What can I say, the girl loves to take her shirt off. Of course, it may be because she is trying to be like her brother, Caleb. :P
