Caleb turns 2!!!!

Can you believe our little man is 2?!?! I can't. I know I skipped a month so be prepared for lots of pics this time. A lot has happened in the last 2 months. Caleb is maturing by leaps and bounds! I can barely keep up! I wasn't going to start potty training until after baby girl arrived, but apparently Caleb couldn't wait. One Sunday morning he looked at us and said, "poop!", proceeded to take his own diaper off and ran to the bathroom. I kid you not. Since then he's been about 90% consistent with pooping in the potty. He's pee'd a few times but he's not too concerned with that. I've heard you should wait until your kid is ready, but I've never heard of a toddler potty training themselves. That's our independent one! He's also moved from his crib to his big boy toddler bed. I thought there would be a lot of drama with this transition but remarkably he took to it pretty well. He can now put together 3 word phrases. He can count to 13 and know about 75% of the alphabet, though not necessarily in order. He weighs 28 lbs now and as you can see he's really thinned out. He's a non-stop mover! He's going to start going to pre-school in the fall for 2 half days a week. He's so eager to learn new things. I'm excited about this next step for him. I think he's going to love it!

Cameron is in England right now, playing soccer, of course. Can you believe how grown up he's getting? Almost as tall as Byron! He's going into 10th grade this year. Caleb loves following around his big bro.
This is my Grandma Douglass on her 88th birthday! Caleb, my dad, and I were able to do some celebrating with her. :)

Here I am at 9 months. Things are progressing well. At the last ultrasound our little beauty weighed 5lbs 11oz (that was 3 weeks ago). Right now we are schedule for our c-section on Thursday, August 19th, unless she decides to make an early appearance. No, she still doesn't have a name yet. Our top picks are Kaiya, Quinn, Bella and Zoey. I think it might be a game time decision. This Ultrasound pic was taken nearly 2 months ago. Crazy how developed she looked then! The bumps on her head are her curls. We are so ready to meet our girl!

Here are pics from Caleb's birthday party!

He loved rockin out on his new guitar!

He looks like a pro, doesn't he? He handled it like he already knew what he was doing! Too cute. One of his other fave's was the grill we got him. Now when Daddy grills outside, we have to take Caleb's grill outside next to Daddy's. He loves it.

Another big first was his first haircut. Since he's such a wiggle worm, I knew there was no way he'd sit still at a salon. Nana was kind enough to cut it at her house. She had to cut some in the bathroom, a little more in the highchair, more in the living room, and some in the bathtub. He looks so grown up!

This is Caleb's BFF, Skylar, my cousin's little boy. They are about 8 month apart. Caleb loves having a partner in crime!

Getting some quality time with Grandpa Charles.

Caleb made it clear who he was supporting in the World Cup (other than USA, of course). He loved marching around the house chanting "Bra-zil! Bra-zil!"

One big cousin get-together! On the left is my cousin Randee and her son Skylar and on my right is my cousin Chrissy and her girls Katie and Sarah. Chrissy was visiting from AZ. It was our first time getting to meet baby Sarah. The kids had a lot of fun!

This is Byron at Gymboree class with Caleb. Caleb's been going there for a little over a year. We love going! Byron doesn't usually get to go since our class is during the week. He loved getting in on the action at a Saturday class.

I cannot tell you how much Caleb loves bubbles!!

Ah!!

Caleb lovin the beach.
How freakin cute is he?!
I look forward to sharing the news of our beauty's arrival!! xoxo
