Happy New Year!

Happy 2009!! We have been so blessed in 2008. We hope this new year gives you peace, love, and laughter.

Caleb had a very merry Christmas!

The cutest snowman ever!!!

5 Months!!

Caleb is 5 months old!! He is really looking like a little man, isn't he? The elephant looks so small now!

Below is his 4 month photo.

3 month photo.
Our boy may look serious at times, but don't let him fool you. He loves to laugh and is such a happy baby. I can't get enough of his laughs and smiles.

With the help of Cameron, Caleb is doing his first header. Go Caleb!

He is doing so many new things . He is such a talker! He can even say Da-Da! I'm SO proud of him.

Caleb finally learned to roll over from his back to his belly. This is the picture I took right after he did it. He looks pretty proud, doesn't he? We are getting ready to have his first solid food (cereal) soon. Look for the photos soon!

Caleb & Katie

Caleb and I had a wonderful visit from my cousin, Chrissy, and her 7 month old daughter, Katie. They live in Germany. This was the first time meeting Katie. What a cutie!! Here we are visiting our Grandmother in the nursing home. Chrissy and I loved bringing the babies over for Gma to enjoy.

It was so much fun getting to be around another baby. I have found that Caleb is very competitive. Caleb can roll over from his belly to his back, but doesn't do it often. Well, as soon as he saw Katie rolling all over, he suddenly felt the need to show off and roll over too. If she reached for a toy, he wanted the toy. She "talked" a lot moving her jaw up and down versus squealing. Now guess who is doing the same?

They both definitely liked to grab a lot. Had to keep them at a safe distance from each other or someone could lose an eye! :) Aren't they just the cutest? They loved attacking this snowman.

This one is my favorite. They reached for each others hands and held them. How precious!

I saved the best for last! We stood in line for an hour to see Santa. Neither of them cried. I guess that's next year. They took a great picture!

Bright Eyes

Our little man is growing up so fast! Two weeks ago he learned how to grab objects. Now is grabbing everything he can get his hands on, especially Mommy's hair.

I love this picture. He looks like he's ready to kick it around with Cam and Dad. He already looks like such a big boy.

He is so full of wonder, it's such a gift seeing things through his eyes. He is so much more aware of everything around him. He never realized there was a stuffed animal in the chair with him until this picture. He spotted the elephant immediately and went for it. Such a smart boy. Must be like his mama! :)

4 Months!

My handsome little man is all decked out here.  He so cute I can hardly stand it!  His hair is getting so long and curly. He had his 4 month check up today.  He weighs 18 lbs. 10 oz. (he feels heavier!) and is 26 inches long.  96th percentile for weight and 92nd for height.  He is a healthy boy who is meeting all his milestones.  He rolls over from his belly to his back and is inches away from rolling from his back to his belly.  He babbles all the time and even sings duets with mommy.

This is Caleb's impersonation of a chipmunk.  Pretty good, huh?  We are practicing sitting up in a highchair here.  He loves to sit up like a big boy.  Caleb met a big milestone last Monday.  He was able to look at an object, reach for it, then grab it. Once he had the hang of it he was grabbing everything in sight! I'm so proud of him!

We've got spirit, yes, we do!!

Caleb was born to be a Bulls fan! (that's my alma mater) He looks especially handsome in green and gold.  :)

Just because he's a Bulls fan doesn't mean he can't root for his other fave, the Gators!  He is happy to sport the orange and blue.  Gator nation!

He seems to take professional football a bit more seriously.
Go Bucs!

I posted this one because he's just so darn cute!  Don't you wish you had your own personal Buddha?  :)

3 1/2 Months

Our little man is 3 1/2 months now. I believe he has hit the 20 lbs. mark. He continues to thrive and be happy and healthy. He has almost rolled over from front to back so I've really got to keep my eye on him. He likes to grab things with his hands, especially Mommy's hair. He loves to experiment with his vocal range-very into sqealing. Loves to see how loud he can get. I love it! He tries to sit up like a big boy and gets frustrated when he can't. He wants to get up and go! He is now a much more selective eater. He doesn't eat his fists-he prefers the first 2 fingers of his left hand. : )
The boys!

He loves sticking his tongue out whenever possible. Is he cute, or what?!

I just bought him a jumperoo. He loves it! He has very strong legs. Now he jumps even when he's not in it. I'm really going to have my work cut out for me when he starts crawling and walking.

He is so smart he is already reading! He sat with Daddy and read...what else...a soccer magazine for about 30 minutes. He's a soccer fan already.

My beautiful family. God has truly blessed me.
